Центральная избирательная комиссия Молдовы направила официальные запросы администраторам TikTok и Facebook с требованием закрыть аккаунты, распространяющие пропаганду, фейки и призывы к ненависти. Об этом заявила председатель ЦИК Анжела Караман, передаёт IPN.

По её словам, в преддверии парламентских выборов, назначенных на 28 сентября, ЦИК расширяет группу онлайн-наблюдателей, которые будут следить не только за распространением агитации, но и за прозрачностью политического финансирования и спонсируемой рекламы в соцсетях.

«Если мы не знаем, кто стоит за рекламой, кто её оплачивает и почему это не отражено в отчетах — это нарушение, и на него нужно реагировать», — подчеркнула Караман.

Она также добавила, что хотя борьба с фейками не входит в прямые обязанности ЦИК, комиссия вмешивается при необходимости для обеспечения честных выборов.

Караман прокомментировала и дискуссии о социальных инициативах властей накануне выборов, отметив важность различения между законной деятельностью правительства и попытками электорального подкупа.

Официальный старт предвыборной кампании намечен на 29 августа — за 30 дней до голосования.
