Итоги протестов в Грузии: парламентарии прекратили рассмотрение двух законопроектов об иноагентах

Грузинские парламентарии прекратили рассмотрение двух законопроектов об иноагентах — «О регистрации иностранных агентов» и «О прозрачности иностранного влияния». Первый был отозван из парламента, а по второму в ходе второго чтения большинство депутатов проголосовали против. Эти законодательные инициативы вызвали массовые протесты в стране, пишет Коммерсант.

«Тридцать пять депутатов против, один — за. Заседание закрыто»,— подытожил процедуру спикер парламента Шалва Папуашвили.

Проект закона о «Прозрачности иностранного влияния» грузинский парламент одобрил в первом чтении 7 марта. Решение спровоцировало массовые протесты. 8 марта демонстранты окружили здание парламента и забрасывали в окна бутылки и петарды, а спецназ применил водометы и слезоточивый газ. Накануне, 9 марта МВД Грузии сообщило о том, что были задержаны 133 человека.

Представители оппозиции характеризовали законопроект, как пророссийский. Документ также раскритиковали ЕС и США. 

Утром 9 марта представители правящей партии «Грузинская мечта» и общественного движения «Сила народа» заявили, что законопроект будет отозван из парламента.
