Бывший президент США Дональд Трамп объявил о договорённости между Ираном и Израилем о полном прекращении огня. Сообщение об этом появилось на его платформе Truth Social, спустя 12 дней после начала вооружённого конфликта между сторонами, сообщает rupor.md

«Иран начнёт соблюдать прекращение огня первым, а через 12 часов к нему присоединится Израиль… Через 24 часа мир будет приветствовать окончание войны», — написал Трамп.

По информации Белого дома, договорённость была достигнута после телефонного разговора Трампа с премьер-министром Израиля Биньямином Нетаньяху. Израиль выразил готовность остановить боевые действия при условии, что Иран полностью прекратит атаки.

В свою очередь, Тегеран подтвердил намерение соблюдать перемирие, но при условии прекращения «незаконной агрессии» со стороны Израиля.

За сутки до объявления перемирия США провели масштабную операцию «Полуночный молот», в ходе которой более 125 самолётов, включая семь бомбардировщиков B-2, нанесли удары по иранским объектам. В ответ Иран выпустил баллистические ракеты по американским базам в Катаре и Ираке. По предварительным данным, жертв нет.
